We meet and depart from the Dayton Convention Center, past the University of Dayton and learn about Woodland Cemetary, on the National Register of Historic Places; and the resting place of many Dayton notables including, among others, the Wright Brothers, Charles Kettering, Paul Laurence Dunbar and Erma Bombeck. We then travel past popular Dayton businesses and night spots; highlighting the statue commemorating the Wright Brothers first flight in Kitty Hawk, NC. Heading west we pass the Neon Movies and enter the Oregon Historic District. Turning north we glide along the canal walk looping past the 5/3rd stadium, home of the Dayton Dragons Baseball Team. Rolling past the new bike depot we enter the Riverwalk, gliding past the replica statue of the Wright B Flyer. The Riverwalk follows the Great Miami River, with stunning views of avian species such as the great blue heron and waterfowl. Nighttime visitors will enjoy the multitude of colorful lit bridges.
$60 per person
